Quarter Final Matches - 6 minute matches
Semi Finals - 6 minute matches (first team to 4 points wins)
Finals - 8 minute matches (first team to 4 points wins)
OT - 2 minutes EBI OR 2 minutes to take down
Submission in regulation - 3 points
Submission in OT - 2 points
Win by escape time - 1 point
Takedown - 2 points

If no submission happens within regulation, there will be an optional Sudden Death OT.* Both competitors must agree to OT. If one denies, then it goes to ref’s decision.
*Sudden Death OT: 1 minute
First takedown wins.
Kids/Teens: 5 minute match
All submissions above the waste are legal
Teen Blue Belt: 5 minute match
All submissions above the waste & straight ankle lock legal
Adult NoGi:
All submissions are legal.
Adult Gi:
NO Reaping & NO Heel Hook.
Adult Blue Belt: 6 minute match
Adult Purple Belt: 7 minute match
Adult Brown/Black Belt: 8 minute match

Every competitor must compete.
The 1st match will begin with a coin flip (red//blue) giving that team the decision to either send out their first competitor OR to make the opposing team send out their first competitor. Decisions will then alternate between teams.
8 minute matches (if there is a 20lb+ weight difference, it will be a 4 minute match)
Mandatory OT if there is no submission during regulation.
Choice of EBI 2-2 minute rounds OR Sudden Death OT.* (The choice of OT goes to the competitor who’s team decision it is for that match based on the initial coin flip.)
*Sudden Death OT: 1 minute
First takedown wins.
If team match results in a tie, they will go into one EBI OT of 3-2 min rounds. Competitor chosen by opposing team (ie. team red picks team blue’s competitor and team blue picks team red’s competitor)
